The TFTalk.net forums will go down temporarily soon for an unknown amount of time.  The reason for this is that there has been continual issues with user registrations not going through, or not being able to be validated.  I understand that this has caused some frustration and lack of traffic to the forums as of late, and I do sincerely apologize.

I suspect that the issue comes from the fact that the forum software (vBulletin) and the main site software (WordPress) aren’t exactly coping well together, as I had a single-sign-in bridge installed.  This software doesn’t appear to have been functioning properly from the get-go.  So what is going to happen is that I have created a backup of the existing forums, and i will soon “nuke & pave” with a fresh install of the forum software elsewhere on the server.  I’m also going to take this time to look into some other options that this opportunity gives me.  Once things have been restored (and hopefully tested), I’ll announce here on the site and our social media outlets that we’re back in business.

Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.  My goal as owner/admin of this site is to try to put forth the best Transformers fan media & discussion site out there, and it will take some time and growing pains–working kinks out.  This is just one of them.  I’ve tried other solutions to fix this problem, and it still persists, with a nuke & pave the last resort.  Please bear with us during this time and keep enjoying our great TFYLP content in the mean time!
